Group Disability Insurance
Group Long Term Disability provides employees with income replacement insurance if they are unable to work due to a disability.
There are various plan types available to fit an employer’s needs.
Elimination periods from 30 to 180 days.
This coverage is paid for by the employer and does not require medical underwriting.
Benefits may be paid to an employee up through normal retirement age
Some common benefit levels of Group Long Term Disability insurance include:
- 60% of earnings up to $5,000 maximum per month
- 75% of earnings up to $10,000 maximum per month
